CONVEYANCING

EXECUTRY WORK

Mellicks supplies a comprehensive service on all aspects of executry work from preparing and storing Wills, to obtaining Confirmation and ingathering all estate, including the transfer of any shares together with other aspects of Estate planning. We also prepare continuing and welfare Powers of Attorney and attend to registration with the Office of the Public Guardian.

Dying intestate – without a Will – adds to the distress and financial suffering of those you are close to, particularly if they include a common law spouse or step-children. Without the benefit of a Will, you risk your assets being distributed against your wishes when you die. A Will allows you to put down in writing exactly what your wishes are following your death and Mellicks will ensure those instructions are followed to the letter.

A Power of Attorney is the only way to give people you trust control of your financial affairs if you get too ill or elderly to take care of these matters yourself. Increasingly banks and other organisations will not deal even with spouses so it is more important than ever to have a Power of Attorney prepared while in good enough health to do so.
